编者按

 

广州影像三年展2025 以 “感知生态学” 为主题，集结全球 25 个国家和地区的 80 余位影像领域创作者，呈现一场聚焦生态、感知与媒介创新的艺术盛宴。

 

参展艺术家立足多元文化背景，以摄影、影像装置、数字艺术等丰富媒介，从自然生态、城市生态、人文生态等维度展开创作，用镜头记录环境变迁，以作品探讨人类与自然的共生关系。

 

这些创作者既是影像艺术的实践者，也是时代议题的回应者。接下来，让我们逐一走近他们，解读其作品背后的创作逻辑与思想内核。

 

陈焰，1970年生于杭州，本硕博毕业于中国美术学院油画系。曾获中国青年油画人才奖项公派留学俄罗斯列宾美术学院。美国加州艺术学院访问学者。作品参加全国和欧美诸多展项，获十二届全国美展获奖题名等诸个奖项，为中国美术馆等海内外机构收藏。现为中国美术学院教授、博士生导师、综合绘画系主任，中国美术家协会综合材料艺委会副主任。

 

Chen Yan ，Born in Hangzhou in 1970, she completed her undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies at the Oil Painting Department of the China Academy of Art. She was awarded the China Young Oil Painting Talent Award and subsequently received a government scholarship to study at the Repin Academy of Arts in Russia. She is a visiting scholar at the California Institute of the Arts. Her works have been exhibited nationally and across Europe and America, receiving numerous accolades including honourable mentions at the 12th National Art Exhibition. Her pieces are held in collections including the National Art Museum of China and other institutions worldwide. She currently serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the China Academy of Art, Head of the Department of Mixed Media Painting, and Deputy Director of the Mixed Media Art Committee of the China Artists Association.

瀑布在中国山水画中是一个重要元素，“疑是银河落九天”映照着这天地间的造化。本系列作品以胶片为绘画媒介，划去胶片的银盐底色，依照亮光来应和这大自然的性灵。胶片的黢黑静默与瀑布的流转飞光间的内在张力自然呈现。在计黑当白的反向成像中，虚实相生；在山水符号间坐卧，游目骋怀。于静观中照见自在，印记历史与自然交织的存在。

 

Waterfalls constitute a pivotal element within Chinese landscape painting, where the poetic imagery of ‘mistaken for the Milky Way descending from the ninth heaven’ reflects the divine creation of heaven and earth. This series employs photographic film as its medium, scraping away the silver halide base to reveal the film's inherent silver tones, thereby resonating with nature's spiritual essence through the interplay of light and shadow. The inherent tension between the film's pitch-black silence and the cascading, luminous flow of the waterfall emerges organically. Within this inverted imaging where black becomes white, illusion and reality intertwine; one may recline amidst the symbols of landscape, letting the gaze roam freely. Through quiet contemplation, one glimpses a state of effortless being, imprinting the interwoven existence of history and nature.
