博士阶段的研究方向：以布洛赫《希望原理》为主要文献，探究希望概念下内涵的美学、伦理与政治交叉路径，由哲学美学框架下的想象与行动概念入手，对综合了伦理—政治批判的当代美学处境进行理论梳理。她对法国文化艺术生态多有研究。热衷观察具有欧陆特色的策展新方法及新趋势，并在推进研究课题之余担任翻译及撰写展评，曾在法国巴黎策划过多个年轻艺术家展览。
Born in Beijing in 1988, Tian Xue is now a doctoral candidate in aesthetics at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Based on the Das Prinzip Hoffnung (The Principle of Hope) by Ernst Bloch, her doctoral research focuses on exploring the aesthetics of connotation under the framework of HOPE and cross paths of ethics and politics. Meanwhile, based on the concepts of imagination and action under the framework of philosophical aesthetics, she combed through theories about the circumstances of contemporary aesthetics that integrates ethics and political criticism. She has conducted in-depth research on the environment of art in French culture. She’s passionate about observing the new methods and emerging trend in curation with characteristics of the Continental Europe. Between the research works, she worked as an interpreter and exhibition commentator. She has curated multiple exhibitions of young artists’ works in Paris.
