Luo Yiping, director of Guangdong Museum of Art, vice chairman of Guangdong Artists Association, member of the Theory Committee of China Artists Association, professor, dean of Visual Culture Studies Center of Sun Yat-sen University, chairman of the China Committee of the Asian Artists League. During 2003 to 2010, he curated several major exhibitions including: the 18th Asian International Contemporary Art Exhibition (Hong Kong, China), the 19th Asian International Art Exhibition (Japan), the 21st Asian International Art Exhibition (Singapore), the 22nd Asian International Art Exhibition (Indonesia), the 23rd Asian International Art Exhibition (Guangzhou, China), the 24th Asian International Art Exhibition (Malaysia), the 25th Asian International Art Exhibition (Mongolia), etc. Since he succeeded the post as the Director of Guangdong Museum of Art in 2010, he curated over 60 exhibitions, including "On and Behind the Stage – Exhibition of Stage Art in Guangdong Traditional Opera", "The First Vibrant Art Concert Contemporary Art Exhibition" etc. He has authored and edited over 19 catalogues, and published over a hundred academic treaties and art critics in key national journals.
