[AR Guided Tour] Experiencing Guangdong Art Centennial Exhibition at 360 Degree with Your Mobile Phone

As the history goes forward, Guangdong art is closely related to the modern and contemporary process of entire China. With continuous exploration, Guangdong artists created a great number of classic works with distinct characteristics of time, profound connotation of thinking, and unique art style, by making creative transformation and innovative development in the realm of fine art with their rich knowledge and innovation spirit, leaving brilliant hallmarks in the history of Chinese art. 


As a gathering of fine art of Guangdong over the past century, the "Reform Mission -- Guangdong Art Centennial Exhibition" is a systematic and comprehensive summarization and presentation of fine art of Guangdong over the past century. The Exhibition will be open at the National Art Museum of China from July 8 to July 23, 2017 and at Guangdong Museum of Art from August 4 to September 5, 2017.  During the exhibition, we devised a guided tour service that combines art and technology and designed the "AR Interaction Software for Guangdong Art Centennial Exhibition" so that the audiences will fully understanding the development of Guangdong art in the past century, view more than 500 exhibits at any time, and enhance their experience. 

 

AR Guided Tour: Making 26 Classic Paintings as Aminations

We made 26 classic fine art works of Guangdong selected by the Organizing Committee as aminations with dubbing through AR technology. Audiences may download and install the "AR Interaction Software for Guangdong Art Centennial Exhibition" with their mobile phones. In addition, they may use "AR Scan" function to scan paintings at the Museum to watch "interactive" paintings, view introductions to artists, their representative works, important works, and interviews.

AR Postcards: Take Art Home

Combining AR guided tour, we produced supportive postcards by which audiences who are longing for more may take art home and review the guided tour content at any time. During visit, audiences may collect postcards scattered everywhere in the exhibition halls to have fun of treasure hunting.

 

WeChat Guided Tour: To Know 290+ Artists

We produced WeChat guided tour for more than 500 works exhibited on site. By using the scanning function of AR Interaction Software or WeChat, audiences may log on personal homepages of those artists and view their introductions and important works. During exhibition, we regularly send push notifications through WeChat service account and subscribed account to popularize knowledge of classic art.

 

Virtual Exhibition Hall: Watch Exhibition Anytime from Anywhere

This Exhibition will open in both Beijing and Guangzhou in succession. Through VR technology, audiences are enabled to access the virtual exhibition hall to watch the exhibitions presented in both cities at any time, breaking through the limits of time and space.
