Heads of Provincial Government Visit the Exhibition of "Willing to Learn: The Thinking of Qiu Ting's Chinese Brush Paintings"
On October 14, 2017, Shen Haixiong, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and Head of Guangdong Publicity Department, and other heads, who were accompanied by Artist Qiu Ting, visited the Exhibition of "Willing to Learn: The Thinking of Qiu Ting's Chinese Brush Paintings" exhibited at Guangdong Museum of Art.
During Director Shen's visit, Qiu Ting introduced that this Exhibition consists of two parts: "Reviewing" and "Learning" and Chinese brush paintings and calligraphy works created by him in different periods and paintings and calligraphy he collected for many years are exhibited in four halls: "Hanrun", "Lixing", "Kuangdu" and "Changhuai".
Director Shen asked about the creation process and background in detail and highly appreciated the art achievements of Qiu Ting, while affirming the efforts of Guangdong Museum of Art in planning and exhibition. He hoped that artists in Guangdong will, led by Xi Jinping's thought of literature and art, learn from others, and create more excellent works, with a view to making new contributions of Guangdong literature and art community to the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
