Theme: Life - Traditional Chinese Painting by Zhou Bo Pro. Zhou Bo has been teaching at The Institute of
Traditional Chinese Painting at The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts for many
years. Decades of self motivated research and exploration into the lives and
beloved land of those people who inhabit the plains of China, ultimately reveals
Pro Zhou understanding of truth, virtue and beauty. He believes the relationship
between art and life should be found through familiar perspectives. Throughout
his life Pro Zhou has devoted his time to creating art which can be both
insightful and inspiring. His paintings are immensely passionate and abstract in
nature, and his use of colour is eye-catching while still retaining a sense of
accuracy. Through his art he tries to represent life with a sense of originality
in order to refresh the spectators' perception of the world they live in.
Understanding the essence of life, is something which has always been the main
premise of Zhou’s artistic practice. |
