Trips:
- October 29, 2005: Join Friends for a trip to Cong Hua, Guangdong Province

Cong Hua is a little-known town less than two hours from Guangzhou. While the town boasts hot springs in order to gain tourists, its treasures lay in the Qing and Ming dynasty homes that dot the area. We will view some of these historic homes as well as the area museum. For those of you that attended Wang Yi Jun’s residential architecture lecture in August 2004, the images she provided us will come to life. These homes, while still very much in use today, are a reach back into the past standing among buildings of the future.
Members will be taken by bus to and from Cong Hua. Museum members are free of charge, non-members will be asked to pay a small fee for transportation and food. (More information to follow)
