1993年毕业于广州美术学院文艺理论教研室，获文学硕士学位
2006-2007年任中山大学汉语言文学系文艺学专业访问学者
2014年，以“德国新表现主义绘画”为题，赴德国访学
现为广州美术学院教授。主要致力于西方美术史教学、研究；当代艺术批评，展览策划

Education:
1990: Graduate from Department of Chinese, Sun Yat-sen University;
1993: Graduate with MA Degree from Department of Theory of Literature and Art, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts;
2006-2007: Visiting scholar major in theory of literature and art at Department of Chinese, Sun Yat-sen University;
2014: Visit Germany for study of “Germany New-Expressionism Painting”.
Current Work:
Fan currently works as a professor at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, mainly committed to the teaching and study of Western Art History, contemporary art criticism and curation.
